Lis Sartori is a fine artist currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts.
Trained in a multitude of mediums, Lis holds an M.F.A. in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a B.A. in Art History and Studio Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and printmaking from Union College (NY). Her art education has ever been evolving, as she views learning and growth as an integral part of any artist’s journey.
She has previously learned dry-point etching at a printmaking atelier in Paris, studied life drawing at the Louvre, and taught drawing courses in Provence.
Her growth has continued outside the classroom, delving beyond the traditional and the two dimensional. She previously served as a display artist for a major international retailer, designing, crafting, and installing three dimensional experiential installations.
Her time is now spent creating unique fine art fibers pieces for corporate offices, restaurants, and private collectors. Her work has been featured in multiple publications as well as on Chronicle on WCVB Channel 5.
Lis has a love for the ocean, born from childhood summers spent on Nantucket. She recently completed an artist’s residency with the Artist Association of Nantucket, and her love for the island is often reflected in her work.
She’s also an avid animal lover, reality tv watcher, and a lifelong Martha Stewart fan.
